I ate lots of tasty snacks in June, from meringue to ice cream and chocolate chip cookies. I'm a bit behind, but here are my favorite places I ate that month.
LEON
73-76 Strand WC2R 0DE (and other locations)
This was a favorite when I was interning at Penguin. Usually I would just get the falafal and sweet potato wrap, since it's cheaper than the full falafal salad box, but this time I ordered some delicious lemonade and got the waffle shaped spicy fries for an extra 60p. While this is still officially a 'fast food' chain, the food seems pretty healthy, especially the boxes. I quite enjoyed eating this meal in the a park next to the Thames.
NORDIC BAKERY
48 Dorset St W1U 7NE (and 2 other locations)
Of course I went back to the Nordic Bakery (twice!). Another cinnamon bun, but this time with a gorgeous brie and lingonberry on Limpan (gluten free bread) and a rustic oatmeal cookie, with some raisins and dark chocolate bits. All I can say is, please visit the Nordic Bakery if you're ever around. I know where I'll be going for lunch tomorrow!
LA GELATIERA
27 New Row WC2N 4LA
This is a gelato and coffee place with some interesting flavor options. Last time I had a scoop of stilton and candied walnut flavored ice cream. It was quite expensive, but surprisingly good. Next time I want to try one of the basil flavors. The second time I visited I had a cappuccino with a tiny meringue. La Gelatiera is tiny and has a glass panel in the floor (SO SCARY to sit on), but it's also open pretty late.
SCOOP
40 Shorts Gardens WC2H 9AB (and other locations)
More ice cream! Scoop haa plenty of options and is conveniently placed in Coven Garden. I think I picked raspberry (which I'd never tasted before) and hazelnut. And it was my very first ice cream of the summer.
BALTHAZAR
4-6 Russell Street WC2B 5HZ
I also went back tot Balthazar. Last time I showed a picture of all the bread and sandwiches, this time I tried the chocolate chip cookie. A+. Would buy again (and I already have done so several times). I also love the vintage design of the paper bag.

Have you ever been to Del Aziz? There are five I believe, the easiest to find is on the south bank by the tate modern. It's amazing, my favourites are the saffron marinated chicken and the brie fig and cumin sandwiches!
xx
These all look great. I'm going to London for the winter holidays :) I'll have to keep following these posts and make notes of the places I want to visit!
