Yesterday I roamed around Amsterdam to take some The Fault In Our Stars related pictures. I also went on a hunt for copies of TFIOS at The American Book Center (score: 4 signed. No yetis, no Hanklerfish) and Waterstone's (score: nada. But according to the lady behind the desk they should get 14 copies next week).
I've bought so many books in the last couple of months that I'm feeling a bit guilty. I have also discovered that I own quite a few books that physically repulse me, which is probably the reason I haven't read them yet (Great Gatsby is one of them). I'm not sure what happened to me, but whenever I walk into a book store I take some time to consider whether I am really sure that this is the edition I want to have on my shelves for years to come. Lately the answer has been no for almost every book. So yesterday I left Waterstone's with nothing but a box of Tea Cakes. I'd never heard about them before, but look at this packaging! And they don't taste bad either.

Must read the Great Gatsby. It's one of my favorites to read, I've read it at least three times last year.
When I went to pick up my copy of TFIOS in Barnes and Noble and I really wanted to flip through all of their signed copies for one that was either hanklerfished, yetied, or messed up (so I could get access to the secret webpage). Alas I didn't because they had already reserved a copy for me.
Your blog makes me hungry... ^^
