It's slightly bigger than a 'normal' ukulele and I really like the sound it produces. It took me a while to learn some chords, because I kept confusing them with guitar chords. I know about 8 chords now and for the last couple of weeks I've basically been playing the same songs over and over.
First Aid Kit has been one of my favorite bands for a while, but I like them even more since I've seen them perform live in Amsterdam. Their song Ghost Town is exactly right for my voice and I sing it at least a couple of times every day. I really like the fact that my ukulele doesn't overpower my voice. I keep it right next to my desk and I can't imagine not having it around.
The second video is the cutest thing. It's a live performance of First Ait Kit in Central Park. Apparently this guy heard from a friend that the girls would be there, and he jumped out of his bed and ran all the way there. They decided to play one last song for him.

I must pursue First Aid Kit further.
Where do you get your uke chords from?
i have never heard of this band but i'll search for them on you tube. the ukelele is a beautiful instrument. i have a guitar but i've been struggling with learning how to play it. it sounds utterly ridiculous but my hands are so small i have trouble reaching some of the strings haha :)
