Statues and Parks.

Here are the first tourist-y pictures of London. About damn time, since I've been in the city for about 6 weeks now. I don't live close to the city center, but fortunately I've had plenty of excuses to hop on a bus and explore the street of London. This time a friend from back home, Suzanne, was visiting me for a couple of days. We did lots of walking, because the tube is fairly expensive, plus you miss out on all the beautiful buildings and statues if you hide underground all the time.

On this particular day we started out at the London Eye and made our way past Big Ben to Buckingham Palace. Hey, when I get opportunity to play tourist with someone who hasn't been in London for a long time, I definitely won't say no. It's getting a bit more quite here, the weather is slowly changing and most foreign visitors have left by now. But I'm sure they'll be back soon enough to buy Christmas presents, don't worry.
