Bergen op Zoom.

Sometimes I forget how many drafted posts I have hanging around on my blog (in my blog?). You don't want to know the amount of pictures I haven't even looked at since I returned from trips to Boston, New York and Los Angeles. They will all end up on this blog. Eventually. Hopefully.

Once again, these are pictures from the week Marion spent in the Netherlands with me during the summer. On this particular adventure we went on the hunt for a bridge we had seen on tumblr. It's happening quite frequently these days that I see something online and decide to go and find it IRL.

This 'Mozes Bridge' was located in the south of the country, which is a place I don't visit too often. We still had our free travel tickets and after one train, one bus and a 20-minute walk we ended up at Fort de Roovere in Bergen op Zoom. There was no clear indication of where the bridge was supposed to be, so we climbed up a hill and followed the canal (and spied on some old ladies who looked like they knew where they were going. They also had the pleasure of watching us run around filming each other). And in the pictures you can see the result of our quest. Of course this event was also documented on camera, which can be found here and at some point in the future here.

Beautiful pictures! I may have to give this a visit since I'm only a couple of hours away...
